Edit a Hotspot

What Is a Hotspot?

Hotspots are editable regions in a page.

Content Hotspots

Content hotspots relate to the actual content of that page.  Which means that if you edit this hotspot then the changes will only take affect on the page that you are currently editting.

Template Hotspots

Template hotspots hold content that appears on all pages that contain a hotspot of the same name.  This means that editting this page will possibly affect many other pages.

Menu Hotspots

Menu hotspots contain a pre-defined navigation menu created using the menu builder.  This menu will appear on all web pages which contain the same menu hotspot.  This allows global menu changes to be made rapidly throughout a site.

Form Hotspots

Form hotspots allow you to insert a custom form which you have already created using the form builder.

Step 1

To edit a page select it in the left hand navigation area.

Step 2

Click the 'Edit page' button in the top command area. You are presented with a list of all the editable hotspots on the page.

Step 3

Select a hotspot and click 'Edit'
